Lightroom show focus point4/10/2023 ![]() Please, try to copy YOUR downloaded version of Exfitools to the plugin´s BIN folder (with overwrite) and reload LR. The problem in extend current camera models is about the lack of information regarding focus points locations/positions. I hope that info is useful - I'd really like this plugin to work.Īlso, I can provide raw files from an A6000 if you need those for updates to include other cameras I have Windows 10 LR CC 2015.4, (the latest 64 bit version) and very recent version exiftool (downloaded a few weeks ago and it works with other plugins on A99 and A77ii raw files) I downloaded the zip file from the website a few minutes ago. Also, in the lightroom plugin manager it says a new version is available. ![]() The new menu item appears but when I try it, it just says "exiftool encountered an error". I managed to load the plugin but I can't get it to work. It seems there's a plugin under development to do just this but so far it's been developed for Mac + Nikon only. The only software I've used that that does is Canon's Digital Photo Professional, although apparently Aperture also does. I really like the idea of this plugin (I toyed with the idea of making some kind of script to perform this exact function but my skills are totally lacking) There are some Lightroom plugins that make you truly question why the feature isn’t built directly into Lightroom itself, and Show Focus Points is one of those. The information such as Focal Points is proprietary to Canon. In short, no, Lightroom doesn't display the active focus point (s).
